French Commode with three drawers. 19thc.
The design comes from an Elizabethan book engraving.
A central urn with a Tudor rose and scrolling vines wraps around all three sides whilst the top is bordered with rope twist.
This lovely piece has fluted columns and legs with brass cupped feet. It still has its original handles and escutcheons the
