{gallery}OSA/OSA1161{/gallery} For sale this rare WW1 military issued black dial trench watch, dating to 1917. This one on offer has the slightly larger case at 38mm in diameter excluding the crown. It belongs to a known group of watches with hinged snap back and 15 jewel movements that were issued in 1917, and this watch on offer is from that batch. The watch has just undergone a full service and is in excellent working order. The original black dial is in excellent original and unrestored condition, retaining all luminous paint to number markers. The front bezel is fitted with what appears to be its original glass. Full military issue and decommissioning marks to case back. Fitted on an original WW1 design leather strap. A rare example and one for the more serious collector.
