Small French Cherrywood Chest of Drawers

1920 - 1940
Description

Super quality and of small proportions French cherrywood chest of drawers or commode with all original brass handles and escutcheons, circa 1930 and in great condition.

Panelled sides and all with quarter veneers in the Louis XV style.

There is a working lock and key to the middle drawer and all drawers running smoothly.

The chest has a fabulous rich cherrywood tone and a beeswax finish.

Measuring:

31 1/2 inches or 80 cm high

32 inches or 81.5 cm wide

16 1/2 inches or 42 cm deep

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
