Antique Early Georgian Carved Oak Cupboard Small Chiffonier C1740 Wdb4895/12.7

Description

Lovely antique george 11 carved oak small cupboard chiffonier and dating from around 1740. It has a carved pedament above a single shelf on turned baluster supports with a carved back panel with eaglet heads. It has a moulded edge to the top above a single carved drawer which is oak lined and brass handles. There are two panelled doors with moulded panels to the centre with carved lozenge with brass escutcheon and key. It has panelled sides and stands on bun feet.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak and oozing the charm and character of the period.

The top separates for ease of transporting.

Measures: 51" to back X 35" to top of base X 22.5" deep X 36" wide
