An antique Waltham half hunter pocket watch, 1913.

The watch has a 15 jewel stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 19236529 which dates it back to 1913. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific manufacturer of cases for various watch makers. The case has light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The front cover has a small lens which is surrounded by blue enamel filled Roman numerals. The winding crown pushes in to open this front cover.

Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark from use.

The signed dial is in has a very faint hairline crack at 7 o'clock although only noticeable with a jewellers loupe.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
