Substantial and large size, 17th Century Spanish walnut table. Having three drawers with deeply carved patterns, and drop pull handles. The side and front frieze panels are deeply carved with decorative patterns. Finished on turned legs with a central cross stretcher with central support.
The table originally had side stretchers all the way round but they were removed and replaced by a single central stretcher many, many years ago to make it more usable, which is a common thing for this kind of table.
A very good model and having a lovely colour.
