Fine Aesthetic Movement Ash Chest of Drawers

Description

Fine, completely un-touched and original condition late 19th century 36" wide Aesthetic movement ash and ebony inlaid chest of drawers by EDWARDS & ROBERTS of LONDON. The chest is a gorgeous original colour with great patination. The drawers are all ash lined with VR patent brass locks and all the original outside brasses. The top right hand drawer is stamped with the maker along the front edge. Couple of small old chips at the back of the chest otherwise perfect. There is quite a large overhang on the top so the chest can sit flush to the wall with a large skirting board. Gorgeous colour and a great size being only 36" wide.
