A lovely genuine Victorian antique! This superb small mahogany chest is a good example of the excellent, uncompromising craftsmanship of the mid-19th century & is an unbelievable colour that the photographs don’t really do justice to. We can go as far to say that it is probably the nicest Victorian chest of drawer that we have ever handled. When it first came into our possession, we actually thought at initial glance that it could easily be a new, reproduction in mint condition, but obviously on closer inspection realised that it was indeed at least 140/150 years old! The chest has two short and two long drawers that are fitted with immaculate, unworn turned hardwood handles. This is a quality piece, perfect for any home & still 100% usable as it was all those years ago.
