Description

Antique Marvin full hunter wrist watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, identified as by Marvin, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and fixed wire lugs. The case is nickel. It has unevenness to front and back, as is the nature of full hunter wrist watches.

The inside of both of the case backs has the case maker’s mark for Huguenin Frères & Co and also the Brevet Demandé (patent requested) mark.

The front cover hinges up to reveal a glass lens over a dial which is in lovely condition. Originally there would have been luminous paint detail to the hands and numbers but this has been removed over the years. A red number 12 gives the dial a handsome appearance.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
