A truly exquisite example of a small chest of drawers in satinwood with beautifully applied decorative paintwork consisting of swags, garlands of flowers, and an ornamental urn. It has two short drawers over three long drawers, and its original bracket feet. Highly desirable for being of diminutive but useable proportions, it measures only 72cms across the carcass and 77cms across the overhanging top. This wonderful early/mid 20th century chest has drawer linings in solid mahogany and its original embossed brass pull handles.
