Description

This is a really charming set of antique apothecary drawers dating from the early 19th Century circa, 1830. The 27 individual drawers are in solid wood and all have framed gilded and glass name plates to them with the Latin names for the drawer contents. The drawers also have their original turned elmwood knobs. Rare to find, particularly with these lovely Verre Eglomise gilt name plates, this is a particularly characterful set with great colour and condition for its age.

The cabinet measures 144 cms long, 57 cms high and 24 cms deep.
