Gents 9ct gold Winegartens wrist watch, 1966.

The watch was made for the retailer Winegartens, based in Bishopsgate, London. It has a good quality 17-jewel ETA movement which is working nicely, and it is signed Winegartens.

The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1966. The case has four little “dings” to the back but otherwise is in good condition, there are no personal inscriptions.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
