The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a nicely jewelled Cyma stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed with the Thomas Russell name and logo.

In 1881 the company started importing movements from Switzerland, such as the one we have in this particular watch.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.
The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The gold plated case is the “Russell” model which was produced by the Illinois Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use and some mild bruises /unevenness to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1930s piece.

The watch glass has light marking, nothing serious at all.
The signed dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. The dial is in nice condition.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
