A Small Walnut Chest of Drawers

18th century
Description

An 18thC country made French chest of small proportions. The drawer fronts are quarter veneered in walnut and are of a super mellow colour. The drawer pulls are of a dolphin design in brass and are very unusual and attractive. (One pull and one escutcheon are replacements but are a very close match) . Light French country construction with panelled sides and boarded back. Dovetailed drawers.Thin overhanging top, peg feet. Old repairs cracks and imperfections but useable as is with a great look.
