Description

Gents 9ct gold Smiths Astral wrist watch.

The watch has an English 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and was made by the British Watch Case Company for Smiths. It is hallmarked for Edinburgh 1967. The back of the watch has a long service inscription from British Railways. The back of the watch has light surface marks.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There is a little marking to the dial, mainly around the centre.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
