Gents Tissot Seastar wrist watch, 1953.

The watch has a 27B-21 16-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. This movement was in production from 1950 until 1961. The serial number on this particular movement is 3,600,823 which dates it back to 1953. The movement is fully signed with the Tissot name.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition with just general light surface marks, nothing serious at all. Tissot winding crown. The inside of the screw-on case back is signed with the Tissot name.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial has a small mark to the edge, between 5 and 6, and a little freckling. Original hands, seconds sweep and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
