The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement, made in England, which is working nicely.
The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1955, together with a case maker’s mark for the Birmingham based Dennison Watch Case Company. The case is in very nice condition. There is an inscription to the case back, CWJ from Gaflac, 4 IV 32, 4 IV 57.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The dial is in lovely condition with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
