The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding, a Förster 2091, which is working nicely.
The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is chrome plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel. The chrome is in good condition, as is the case back.

The lens is in good condition.
The dial is signed Axa, believed to be the brand name registered by the watch assembler Karl Ehrmann of Pforzheim, Germany in 1950. The dial is also signed ‘bruchsicher’ (shockproof). The dial is in lovely original condition with original hands and date pointer hand, and a subsidiary seconds dial.
A later leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
