Description

Antique Waltham pocket watch, 1927.

The watch has a good quality 15-jewel stem-winding movement, grade 620, which is working nicely. The movement has nicely patterned plates, fully signed and with the serial number, 26228086 which dates it back to 1927. The movement is protected by an inner cover with various elaborate initials beautifully engraved into it.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Moon model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, main supplier of cases to Waltham UK. It is in very nice condition with just general light surface marks.

The acrylic lens in good condition.

The signed dial has a couple of hairlines coming from the centre but they are faint.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
