This mid 19th century Tall Victorian Mahogany Antique Chest of Drawers dates from ca. 1860. It has a beautifully figured top above five drawers with cock-beaded edges and turned handles. The top drawer is very unusual as it is hinged and when open, reveals four small sliding trays.
The Mahogany is a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
