Victorian Mahogany Straight Fronted Chest

A good quality antique Victorian straight front chest of drawers. It has a moulded edge top above and arrangement of two short over three long, graduating drawers. Each has neat turned handles. Also, the shaped plinth is raised on bun feet. To the back is a maker’s mark for ‘W.H Reynolds St. Asaph’.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and wear to top and front (pictured). Some minor losses to the drawer surrounds (pictured). Some shrinkage gaps evident on veneer to base as well as minor losses to the base veneer (pictured). Minimal historic woodworm which is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. All drawers run smoothly.
