The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement, signed Buren, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged brass cover.
The watch measures 48.8mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London (import mark) 1911. There are also the initials W.H.S for the importer William Henry Sparrow.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in good condition.
The white enamel dial has blued steel hands including the special half hunter hour hand which is designed so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed. The dial is in nice condition.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
