Antique Vertex Full Hunter Pocket Watch

Antique Vertex full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Vertex name. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Star Watch Case Company of Michigan. Engine turned detail to both the front and back of the watch, and a central vacant cartouche to the front. Overall, the condition is good with just light surface marks.

The winding crown presses in to open the front cover. Inside this front cover is the name and address of the original owner of the watch, and the date March 18th 1915.

Inside, there is a glass lens which is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in super condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
