A fine George III mahogany bowfront sideboard, the top with tulipwood crossbanding and boxwood stringing over two deep drawers, one with bottle divider and lead lining, and a central drawer, each with their original loop handles, and with tulipwood crossbanding and boxwood and ebony stringing, on square tapering supports terminating with spade feet. English circa 1785.
Condition: Excellent, the sideboard is solid and robust, and is in very good condition overall. It has marks which are commensurate with its age. The piece has a lovely colour and wonderful patina, with interesting use of timbers for inlay and crossbanding.
