Description

1920s Elkington pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel (two adjustments) stem-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 46mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and the inner case back has the mark for Elkington & Co. The front of the case is in good condition. The hinged case back has a couple of small dings and surface marks, and some unevenness.

The acrylic lens is in lovely condition.

The dial is signed with the name of the original retailer, Elkington, and it is in its original finish, handsome blued steel hands and a subsidiary seconds dial.

The watch comes with a later single gold filled watch chain, 24cm long.

The watch and chain will come in a new presentation box.
