The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a few little scratches.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and it is in good condition, just light surface marks.
The acrylic lens is in lovely condition.
The dial is signed A G Martell, 5 Above Bar, Southampton, listed as watch maker, jeweller, silversmith and optician. Original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. There are some short hairline cracks by number 12 but not too detrimental at all.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
