Description

A superb quality early 18th Century mahogany bachelor’s chest of drawers, the solid hinged rectangular fold over top to reveal a wooden writing surface supported on pull out rectangular lopers, two short over three long graduated drawers having good clean oak linings, the drawer fronts having brass plate handles and escutcheons, raised on bracket feet. The chest is in excellent condition and has a lovely patina. Circa 1740.
