Description

Fine quality Welsh dresser or sideboard of medium size but substantial proportions, providing a particularly useful piece for both storage and display.

The top is formed of two boards with a moulded edge, over three raised-and-fielded panelled drawers above a central slim vertical raised-and-fielded panel flanked by a pair of raised-and-fielded panelled doors enclosing cupboards, and with a panelled back, the whole raised on stile feet. Virtually all pieces of this type originally had a plate rack, but this example was always just a base section. Superb colour and surface finish.
