Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
Even the drawers are entirely solid oak construction. It sits on a grooved ebonised plinth base and has interestingly shaped ebonised handles. There is also some geometric shaped black inlay on the drawer fronts.
We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
