Flanked by unusual herringbone inlaid canted corners, the base having a slender thumb nail moulding raised on original Hepplewhite pattern square tapering legs having ebony inlaid flutes terminating with block feet. These stylish legs are rare to find on a serpentine chest. A well drawn piece of furniture with a good strong sweep to the serpentine.
