The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a good quality 15 jewel keyless top-wind movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number, 4,415,931, dates it back to 1891. The movement features screw set jewels, Moseley travelling nut regulator and gilded plates.
The case is nickel and it is in good condition with just light surface marks.

The watch glass is in lovely condition.
The signed double sunk dial has had a knock of some kind and there is a little damage with short radiating hairlines. Blued steel hour and minute hands (the minute hand is a period replacement).
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
