Gents 9ct gold Landeron chronograph wrist watch.
This calibre of movement was in production from 1937 to 1970. The movement is protected by an inner metal cover.

The watch measures 37.5mm diameter excluding the crown, buttons and lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and it is a good heavy duty solid gold case, not the thin foil type cases often seen on chronographs. There are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1963 with a case maker’s mark for the London case maker Albert Oliver. The case is in good condition, as is the lens.
The dial is in its original finish, there is a little age related darkening but nothing too serious at all.
The watch has a vintage leather strap.
The watch will come in a new presentation box.
