Here we have a fantastic genuine Military campaign chest of drawers c1840. As you can see the chest has amazing colour and patina. This is not a clean shiny chest that has never been anywhere near a campaign. This chest is how these chests should be. It has all the hallmarks of travel having faint bruises and wear which cannot be faked. The timbers are solid and beautiful in colour and grain. There are revealed dovetail joints to the edges of each module and rebated holes to the top section with raised studs to the lower. There are beautiful double screwed brass mounts to the corners and wonderful brass rebated handles to each drawer. The drawers also have a faux cockbead scribe to the edge. This compact version is in super retail condition and ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 100 cm high 89 cm wide 50 cm deep.
