Stunning Ebonized Victorian Break-Fronted Antique Credenza

Dating from the 19th century ca.1870, this Stunning Ebonized Victorian Antique Credenza has a beautifully figured break fronted top with moulded edge above three doors with decorative ormolu mounts. The central door has the most spectacular inlays and the outer doors are glazed with the interiors comprising of two fixed shelves with beautiful velvet linings. This striking antique credenza stands on a break fronted moulded plinth, it has spectacular burr Walnut banded inlays around the edges and a key with working locks. The piece is a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
