Tom Scott Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The chest is a good size and gives plenty of storage, but is not overly high, so it keeps the proportions looking light and I thought also means that it can work in more settings, such as a living room piece as well as a bedroom dressing chest.

The figured walnut is bookmarked through the centre, so the grain runs up the front of both drawers to more black walnut above. Original wooden drawer pulls also.
Good looking piece of furniture and will work well as a focal point, holding a pair of lamps and perhaps a mirror above.
