Andros Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The fine applied carving around the edges helps to lift the piece as does the carving on the front uprights.

The gorgeous fine carving on the top drawer and on the top front rail, are well worth some close inspection to admire the craftsmanship. Lovely to see the stamp on the top drawer for Waring & Gillow along with the locks all stamped as made for them by Squire & Sons.

There is even a nice extra detail shape on the bracket feet to admire. The brass handles complement the warm colour of the timber to good effect. A quality chest of drawers that stands very well that can be put to good use in so many areas of a home.
