Gents 1960s Adriatica World Champion Wrist Watch

Gents 1960s Adriatica World Champion wrist watch.

The watch has a good quality 21 jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Adriatica.

The watch is a good wearable size at 37mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is chrome plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel. There is some surface marking to the plate but nothing too serious at all. The case back states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. There is some scratching to the case back.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands (the infill has come out over the years), seconds sweep with red pointer end and outer minute markers. There is some fairly light marking to the dial.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
