Description

This is an unusual chest in that it is 60cms high, it could be perfect if you have a low window and want a clean and useful chest to go under it. Perhaps you have a low ceiling and want something in proportion. It could be good on a landing if you did not want something to dominate the landing.

It is really clean and tidy with very impressive handles, one of the drops is not a perfect match but it was not noticed when we bought it and it was only seen when we came to give the handles a clean so it very close. Had the whole set of handles not been so impressive we might well have changed them, but it would be a real pity to loose such quality examples. The top is inlaid all around it's edge as are the drawers. (please see the pictures) All in all a really useful and good looking chest of drawers from aroound 1900 or maybe a touch later.
