The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a 15-jewel (adjusted in two positions) stem-winding movement, Omega calibre 35.5L, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 5,813,565 dates it back to the early 1920s.
The watch measures 45mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
It is likely that the Omega movements were exported to Canada in readiness for casing by P W Ellis. The case is beautifully detailed and is in lovely condition with just light surface marks.
The watch glass is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
