Carse Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
The inside cupboard has one fixed shelf. The secretaire drawer is of the highest quality and is fitted with pigeon holes and drawers, the drawers are all mahogany lined with nicely turned bone knobs.

The top shelf has turned columns to the front with gilded, cast brass capitals top and bottom and a nicely shaped gallery around the top edge. The cabinet is in good original condition and is a lovely rich colour with waxed finish.
The cabinet is such a nice neat size it could fit anywhere.
SIZE; 36" wide by 18 1/2" deep by 48" high overall. 36" high to the top surface.
