Burr Walnut Commode Chest of Drawers

Description

Early 19th century French Louis Philippe burr walnut and straight grain walnut four drawer commode chest of drawers .

Lovely proportions to this commode and it is narrower than the usual, but still give good storage with the four full width drawers.

Also nice to have one of these commodes with a straight grain walnut top rather than the usual marble too.

Good original condition and the burr walnut has a wonderful warm beeswax glow.

Measuring:

36 1/2 inches or 93 cm high

47 3/4 inches or 121.5 cm wide

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
