Here we have the finest of Victorian Burr Walnut chests of drawers c1860. The colour and patina is outstanding. There is a half matched veneered top with super grain and colour. There is a thumb moulded edge and a deisrable configuration of two over three drawers below. The drawers have stunning burr Walnut fronts with solid Mahogany linings including bases and internal dust beads. The drawers retain the original fine quality turned handles and have hand cut dovetail joints. The bottom drawer has an integral plinth so lovely and deep for plenty of storage. The chest has round corners of burr Walnut and beautifully figured Walnut sides again with a plinth base finish. The chest has a label for Judges furniture Store of Kentish Town London. This is as good as these chests get and the best we have had through our showroom for sometime. A super period chest in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 122 cm wide 53 cm deep 125 cm high.
