Small French Marble Top Commode Chest of Drawers

Description

Neat small size French mahogany commode chest of drawers with a fabulous marble top, circa 1860.

The chest has four full width drawers which are all running well and lovely Empire style brass drawer pulls.

The original charcoal black marble top has some wonderful fossils which are fascinating and a great decorative feature to the marble!

The marble does lift off the top of the chest for ease of moving.

Measuring:

29 1/4 inches or 74.5 cm high

31 1/2 inches for 80 cm wide

18 1/2 inches or 47 cm deep

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
