Description

Gents 1960s Excalibur wrist watch.

The watch has a 21 jewel automatic movement, the Tissot 2481, unsigned so intended for a non-Tissot watch.

Watches sold under the Excalibur brand had a variety of Swiss movements with Tissot being at the higher end of the range.

The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is rose gold plated and it is in very nice condition. The screw-on case back is stainless steel; it states that the watch is water resistant but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep and quickset date (initially set by repeatedly pushing the crown).

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
