Description

1930s Arden full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality Swiss 15-jewel adjusted stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Illinois Watch Case Company. It is in good condition for its age, general light surface marking, a little rubbing and a pin prick sized "ding" to the edge of the case back.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in lovely condition.

The signed dial has an old repair towards the edge at 2 o'clock but otherwise is in good condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
