Made from birch and dating from the end of the 19th century, this pair of chests are an ideal size to act as bedside chests. They are a lovely colour and the drawers all run smoothly. Please note that these were made as an actual pair of chests and not adapted later from a dressing table as is often the case. At 30.5" (78cm) they are the ideal height for bedside chests/tables. They were probably sold by Maples of London during the late 19th century. English, circa 1890/1900
