Lovely quality and condition Georgian oak chest of drawers with original brushing slide and a newly fitted green baize.
The chest is a 2 over 3 configuration with graduating drawers, so although this is a well proportioned mid size chest, you get a lot of useful storage without the proportions being compromised.
The brushing slide gives you additional surface space when required.
All drawers are oak lined and all are running very well, fitted with solid brass swan neck handles.
Good consistent mid oak colour tone and has a lovely beeswaxed finish.
Some typical age marks as you would expect but nothing major and all adds to the character for a 200+ year old piece of furniture.
