Description

Gents Tissot Visodate Seastar wrist watch, 1969.

The watch has a 17-jewel 782-1 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number, 10,762,181, dates it back to 1969.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition with just light surface marking. The inside of the screw-on case back has the Tissot logo. Original Tissot winding crown.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep and date display. This is an early form of quickset date where the hands are moved repeatedly backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 9.30pm until the desired date is reached.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a vintage Tissot presentation box.
