The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a seven jewels, grade 610, which is working nicely. The movement has the winding crown at 3 o'clock so the hunter model. The nicely patterned movement is fully signed and the serial number 9,289,639 dates it back to 1899.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is nickel and it is in lovely condition with just light surface marks.
The watch glass is in good condition with a nice deep bevelled edge.
The enamel dial is nicely hand painted with the scene of a hunt. There are several cracks to the dial.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
