The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The movement is signed Thos Russell & Son, Liverpool.
Thomas Russell & Son was a well respected business having achieved a Royal Warrant as watch and clock makers to the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.

In 1881 the company started importing movements from Switzerland, such as the one we have in this particular watch which is a Swiss made Cyma.
The watch measures 42mm x 42mm wide excluding the stem and loop. This is the hunter model where the winding crown is at 3 o'clock. The case is gold plated and is nicely detailed around the edges.
The glass lens is in good condition.
The dial is in lovely condition.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
